Bio

Donovan Santas, RSCC, CSCS is a seasoned strength and conditioning coach with more than 20 years experience in professional baseball, who presently serves as the Head of Strength & Conditioning for the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club. In his current role, Santas oversees all aspects of strength and conditioning with-in the organization's High Performance model, from staff development and supervision to facility design and management, through amateur draft research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Over the course of his two-decade-plus career in baseball, Santas has served in almost every strength & conditioning role possible: from intern and minor-league coordinator to major-league strength coach and department head. A member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Santas has spoken at both national and local conferences and written for the NSCA Performance Training Journal. He’s also an active member of the Professional Baseball Strength Coaches Society, previously serving on the Board of Directors. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Santas grew up in Wisconsin but now resides in Florida with his wife Dana and son Luke.
